When we decided to open the Gateway1890, part of our plan was to bring quality suppliers and producers to the Blaine area. With us being so close to Bellingham,

we wanted to leave majority of those breweries for locals and visitors to visit their facilities direct as they are only 20 minutes away down the i-5.

We wanted our guests to experience craft breweries that you would have to drive 4-10 hours to, to get one of their ice cold beers on tap, so with us serving these west coast craft breweries here, you can save the time! We offer 20 beers/ciders on our 'Bottom Ups' tap system from south of Bellingham, Southern Washington, Oregon and California to the most northern part of the I-5 for all to experience without the gas bill. We fully support our Bellingham breweries and when patrons stop in on their way south - we always give them suggestions, if we don't have one on tap, of what breweries to try in Whatcom County. We, ourselves have made the road trips to the breweries that we carry and are happy to bring these beers to Gateway1890 for all of you to try the next time you stop in.
